A Closer Look at NTI's HVAC Program in Houston

Skills and Credentials the Curriculum Delivers

Program Costs, Aid Options, and Enrollment Requirements

Depending on the format you select, the program takes between 12 and 16 weeks — roughly three to four months from start to finish. That is considerably shorter than the nine to twelve months you would spend at most traditional trade schools.
NTI operates a northwest Houston campus in the Jersey Village area and a southeast Houston campus serving students near Clear Lake and Pearland. The dual locations make the program reachable from most parts of the greater Houston metro.
The curriculum includes preparation for the EPA 608 Universal certification exam, which you take on campus before completing the program. This is among the most widely recognized credentials that HVAC employers require when hiring entry-level technicians.
NTI offers three formats: Traditional, which is fully on campus; Fusion, which blends online coursework with one weekly lab session on site; and Immersion, which is the most accelerated option. All three formats include the same hands-on lab training.
Yes, NTI offers several assistance avenues for qualifying students, including Ascent Funding, scholarships, payment plans, and veteran education benefits. NTI does not participate in federal student loan programs, keeping graduates free from long-term loan obligations.
